What’s Christmas really about?

It’s hard to believe that another Christmas is upon us,
and as we get older it seems to come faster
than the last one did.

It is a time for family and friends,
a time for giving and receiving,
a time of joy.
You can see it in the faces of the people
that you meet.
You can hear it in their voices.
but when all the presents have been opened,
and food is all gone,
many people still wonder,
what is Christmas really all about?
The answer to that question can be found in the Bible.
Listen to the message “Whose Son Is He?” in Matthew 1:18-25,
as God gives us His perspective on this holiday.

So the world didn’t end on the 21st

Ok,
so the world didn’t end on the 21st
Now what?
Even those with no spiritual insight
are saying the same thing,
that we seem to be heading in the wrong direction and
that it is only a matter of time before this world just falls apart.
but, what does the Bible have to say?

In the Book of Revelation, in twenty-two chapters,
God has given us detailed information about where we are headed.
Isn’t it worth the time to find out?

Begin the journey here,
with the message “Postmarked From Heaven” Revelation1:1-8
and let the Word of God give you the truth.

Making Sense of What Happened in Connecticut

It is difficult for us to make any sense of the horror that has recently taken place in Connecticut.
In many ways it is beyond our understanding, and our education and our reason fail to give us any answers.
We must look outside of ourselves if we are to find comfort and hope.
We must look to God.
In John Chapter Three, there was a man, a very educated and well respected man,
who came to Jesus looking for answers.
He wanted to understand what life is really all about.
Listen to what Jesus told him in the message “The Cure For The Incurable
